The Razi Tire Expansion Company was founded in 2014, with a strategic partnership between the private sector and the Organization for the Expansion and Renovation of Industries in Iran (IDRO). The company specializes in the production of radial tires, catering to both light and heavy vehicles. Located on a sprawling 54-hectare site, the Razi Tire facility represents a significant investment of over 8,500 billion Rials, equivalent to 215 million Euros.

Razi Tire offers a wide range of products, from passenger car tires to van and SUV tires (steel-belted), as well as radial bus tires. With an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, Razi Tire is capable of producing approximately 350,000 units of passenger tires and 260,000 units of heavy tires each year. This production capacity is a testament to the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demands of the automotive industry.

Razi Tire is at the forefront of technological innovation, utilizing advanced knowledge from Apollo Vredestein. Additionally, the company is in negotiations with other leading tire manufacturing companies worldwide to further enhance its technological capabilities and product offerings. As demand for Barez tires grew, the company expanded its technological base by incorporating TRI Russian technology and Italian Marangoni know-how into its production processes, specifically for the manufacturing of radial car tires. This commitment to adopting and integrating advanced technologies has been a driving force behind the company’s success.

In the past decades, Barez further solidified its position by entering into a 10-year contract to import German Continental technology. Today, all Barez products are designed and manufactured using this state-of-the-art German technology, ensuring that each tire meets the highest standards of quality and performance. The result is a range of tires that are not only highly durable but also offer superior safety and efficiency, making Barez the most prolific tire manufacturer in Iran.
